What Is Blended First Aid and CPR Hamilton Training?

Blended First Aid and CPR Hamilton training splits your course in two. First, you complete the Canadian Red Cross theory online, at home, at your own pace. Then you come to our Hamilton centre for a single in-person skills day to practise CPR, AED, and hands-on techniques with an instructor. As a result, you earn the same Red Cross certification as a fully in-class course while spending less time in the classroom.

Blended vs. Fully In-Class – Which Should You Pick?

Choose Blended if…

  • Because work or family keeps you busy, reading on your own schedule helps
  • Similarly, one day on-site suits you better than two
  • Also, online modules before class feel comfortable to you

Choose Fully In-Class if…

  • Above all, you prefer learning everything in person, in one sitting
  • On the other hand, online modules at home aren't for you
  • Similarly, an instructor for the whole course helps you learn best

In fact, both formats meet Ontario WSIB and O.Reg 1101 requirements and give you the same 3-year Red Cross certificate. Alternatively, if you prefer a different location, browse all blended First Aid and CPR locations.
