Certification

• Digital fit test certificate, emailed soon after you pass
• Lists the respirator make, model and size you passed on, since CSA Z94.4 requires it
• Most workplaces and schools also ask for a new test every year

Before Your Appointment

A little preparation helps you pass the first time, so please check these points before you arrive.

Requirements

• Be clean-shaven where the mask seals. Otherwise, under CSA Z94.4, we can't complete the test because facial hair sits between your skin and the respirator.
• Skip food, drinks (except water), smoking and gum for 15 minutes before. Because the test relies on taste, this keeps your result accurate.
• Know your respirator model. Also, if your employer or school issues a specific make, model and size, bring it or tell us when you book.
